What is the Versa Spa Booth?
The VS Booth is a private, self-contained unit that employs a revolutionary spray process to apply a uniform amount
of tanning solution to the entire body in just seconds. When the tanning session is complete, the tanner simply steps
out of the booth, wipes off barrier cream, dresses and exits. The result is a smooth, natural-looking tan.
Will my Skin Look Orange?
Not at all. Before VS booths, most self-tanners were creams and lotions appllied by hand. That meant
inconsistent coverage. Too much lotion applied in one place left the skin looking orange. Not enough lotion left
unattractive streaks. Our VS tanning solution is a customized blend that covers the entire body in the
exact amount required to produce a natural-looking tan.
What Should I Wear in the Versa Spa ?
Most people wear nothing. Since the room is completely private, going for
an all-over tan is completley up to up. However, if you want tan lines, please note that it may stain what ever
is worn.
Will my Skin be Wet When I step out of the Versa Spa Booth?
The mist applied in the booth is moist and very fine. The versa spa
will blow dry the soultion on your skin and it also has a slimming, anti-aging moisturizing extender that you can add after
your bronzing session to lock in and extend the life of your tan.
How long should I Wait before Showering?
To give the DHA the time to fully set, we recommend waiting at least 6-8 hours. When you shower,
the temporary water-soluble bronzer will wash off, but the DHA creates your longer lasting tan for 5 to 7 days. To
extend your color 2-3 days longer we recommend the DHA moisturizing extender lotion or use extending moisturizer
Spray option on the booth.
What is in the tanning solution and how does it work ?
BRONZER- a water soluble brown tinted dye that produces an instant tan. The Bronzer washes off in the shower
or bath, without affecting the tan.
DHA - this produces the long term tan. The use of DHA has been FDA- approved for decades as
an external tanning agent. When DHA is applied it reacts withe proteins in the skin's superficial layer to form
a golden brown color. Your skin begins to darken 2- 3 hours and reaches peak color within 24 hours. The tan will gradually
fade and to maintain color you'll want to tan every 4 -5 days.
Aloe -Vera - helps carry the DHA deeper into the skin and promotes a softer, smoother finish. Aloe vera also softens
the skin and helps smooth wrinkles.
Does the solution have any smell?
Some people notice a slight starchy smell a few hours after the session, however Our tanning solution is customized and
has a Lemon Grass fragrance added given a fresh clean smell after your spray session
Are there any optional precautions I can use with the Versa Spa Sunless Spray booth?
When applying DHA sunless products in a spray or mist, it is difficult to avoid exposure to eyes, lips or guard against accidential
inhalation of the tanning mist. VS and the FDA recommends that users cover the areas of the eyes with standard
uv tanning eyewear, protect the lips with lip balm and use a nose filter to protect membranes in the nasal passages,
as well as avoid inhaling or ingesting the product.
